Butterflies & Moths with Ken Bond

Studying butterflies by day and moths by night this course will equip you to take part in the European butterfly monitoring scheme no matter what level you are at. This is a project to record variations in butterfly numbers resulting from climate change and other factors. It will also give you an introduction to the wonderful diversity of Irish moths using light traps.

Puppetry, Nature, Storytelling. Jerpoint Barn creative summer school

Jerpoint Barn, Thomastown, 30th June – 2nd July, €80

Three days of puppet making, story spinning and other creative playful activities in and around the beautiful setting of Jerpoint Barn & gardens with professional puppeteer Anna Rosenfelder and visual artist Jana Zitzmann.

Two courses are on offer:
Age 6-8 from 9.30am to 12.30pm “I AM A BIRD”
Age 8-11 from 2pm to 5pm “TOY THEATRE“
