Proud allotment holders in Clonmel

At the last meeting of Kilkenny Allotments and Community Gardens Association it was decided to take a field trip to view allotments at Clonmel and Cashel (Aimisir Bia), to talk to allotment holders and see how the allotments are working out. Future Proof Kilkenny member Oonagh Duggan has made contact with organisers at both towns about a potential visit and the trip is going to happen sooner rather than later so that there will be a greater the chance of still seeing some vegetables growing!

Draft Outline of day:

• Potential visit to Community Garden in Callan (waiting for call back, this might not happen)
• Definite visit to Clonmel Allotments
• Definite visit to Aimsir Bia Allotments, Cashel
• Be back in Kilkenny within 3-4 hours.

Proposed Date:
Sunday 18th, afternoon, 2pm departure, car pooling on the day.
