So What is Funky Seomra?
A dry disco! – only in one sense, Funky Seomra is a night full of games, visuals, cafe, relaxation and of course great dancing.
The music is a fabulous mix of funky beats & lush rhythms by DJ David Mooney and guest DJ’s playing funk, soul, Klezmer, Irish Trad, Global beats and rhythms, music from around the world, Latain and Reggae.
The stunning Castalia Hall provides a huge dance floor with lots of space for people to dance the night away under the visuals and led ambient light designs, interactive art exhibits with a chill out lounge area.
Funky Seomra Cafe provides Organic snacks, Chocolate and sweet treats ,Organic Juices and Smoothies, Chai & specialist tea bar.
Kick back on the giant Budda Bags and relaxe in ambient chill out space.
• Create play zone with Giant Jenga, Giant draughts, Twister, Make and Do – paints, clay, mala, arts and crafts including exhibit space, Giant snakes and ladders, Mini Bowling, many, many board games, cards, other games.

How to find Castalia Hall:
From Kilkenny take the N76 to Callan. Enter Callan via the 3rd entrance (from N76).
Drive through the town and exit towards the Golf Club, passed this watch for signs for ‘Camphill ballytobin’ (about 5km). After big bend take next left then second right into Camphill. Then follow the paths to Castalia Hall. “3,2,1… your under!”
