About Transition Carlow
Transition Carlow is a new initiative looking at the how the communities of Carlow, Town and County, can develop greater resilience and happiness in the face of future economic, energy and climate shocks. It is one of hundreds of Transition Initiatives across the world. Transition Carlow seeks to work with existing local groups, bringing the additional perspective of thinking about a future beyond peak oil and with the effects of climate change becoming steadily greater. It sees the most effective response to these and other issues as being a rejuvenation of local community.
